Living In DuluthNestled on a 600-foot bluff overlooking the largest freshwater lake in the world, Duluth is an incredible place to live. As one of the largest of the Great Lakes’ international ports, Duluth is an important shipping, commercial and manufacturing center. Major industries in Duluth include health care, education, aviation, technology, and tourism. Located at the southwest tip of Lake Superior, Duluth is halfway between St. Paul and the Canadian border. Although narrow, our beautiful city extends approximately 25 miles along the lakeshore.
